Winamp Is Going To Shut Down On December 20, 2013

Winamp is one of the most oldest Media Player. It is one of the most popular MP3 player available for Windows XP and later. But now, the owner company of Winamp has announced that Winamp media player will be shut down on December 20, 2013 along with any web service like online lyrics retrieving service.

Initially Winamp became very popular but later on when AOL bought Nullsoft (the company behind Winamp), its popularity starts decreasing in late 90's and 2000. AOL could not successfully run the Winamp project.

Winamp.com and associated web services will no longer be available past December 20, 2013. Additionally, Winamp Media players will no longer be available for download. Please download the latest version before that date. See release notes for latest improvements to this last release. Thanks for supporting the Winamp community for over 15 years.

Winamp will not be available for download after December 20, 2013. So all of you who want to get a copy, please download Winamp from following link before December 20, 2013.
